ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies made three selections in the 2026 NA3HL Draft on Wednesday: Griffin Dewar, Samuel Hard and Thomas Grapentine.
Griffin Dewar
A 2008-born forward, Dewar has spent the last three seasons at Bemidji High School, including a career-best eight goals and 19 points this past campaign.
Standing as a six-foot-two left-handed center, Dewar provides size and skill down the middle for a Grizzlies team losing key pieces on the offensive front to college.
Dewar will become the third Bemidji player on the Grizzlies, joining his former teammates in Dominic Arndt and Benjamin O’Leary.
Samuel Hard
Hard brings championship experience to the Grizzlies, having captained the Minnesota State Championship-winning Warroad Warriors this past season.
From the blueline, Hard produced four goals and 13 points across 31 games in high school, alongside four assists in 16 games with Team Spade of the UMHSEHL.
Another player with size, standing at 6-foot-3 and 198 pounds, Hard joins a backend with potential for key returners from last season’s Fraser Cup squad.
Thomas Grapentine
The second Warroad defenseman selected, Grapentine also adds a scoring touch on the blueline, totaling three goals and seven assists across 31 games played.
In three seasons with the Warriors, Grapentine totaled five goals and 16 assists in 90 career games, while limiting himself to 26 penalty minutes as well.
