ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League have announced forward Peyton Hart was called up by the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League Wednesday morning. Hart is slated to play for the Bruins in their game Wednesday night on the road against the Minnesota Wilderness. This marks the second time this season Hart has been called up by the Bruins, appearing in a game against Minot on Oct. 26.

Hart, in his second season with the Grizzlies, is second in points with the team at 23 (nine goals, 14 assists). The Delafield, WI native has appeared in all 18 games for Rochester this season and is also tied for the team lead in shorthanded goals with Joey Fodstad at two. Hart was also named the second captain in Grizzlies history earlier this month. With Hart’s recall, it marks three former Grizzlies in the lineup tonight with the Bruins as he joins Cullen Rush and Oskar Stahl. Both Rush and Stahl saw time with Rochester last season.

The Grizzlies are set for a doubleheader at home this weekend against the Peoria Mustangs. Friday and Saturday’s game marks the final time Rochester and Peoria will face each other in the regular season. Friday’s game is Black Friday Blackout as fans are encouraged to wear black to the game. All tickets are $5 plus there will be beer specials all evening. Fans will have a chance to win a 55″ 4K HDR television in a raffle, as well. Plus 10-game ticket packs will be just $50 and select Grizzlies apparel will be 50% off.

Saturday’s game is Rochester Youth Hockey Night, as any kid who wears their RYHA sweater gets free admission to the game. Grizzlies’ mascot Boomer will be wearing a special RYHA themed sweater that will be raffled off with part of the proceeds going back to RYHA. There is also a post game skate with the Grizzlies that evening. Start time for both games is 7 PM with doors opening at 6 PM.
