ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies have acquired forward Trenton Impens from the Norwich Sea Captains in exchange for a 2027 NA3HL tender and future considerations, the team announced Friday.
A right-shot winger, Impens split the last two seasons with the Maine Nordiques and Sea Captains of the NA3HL, totaling 49 points in 91 games played, including a breakout season in 2025-2026 with a team-leading 24 goals for Norwich.
Prior to his junior hockey days, the 6-foot-3, 2006-born forward played for the Lincoln Jr. Stars for three years, netting 14 goals and 36 points during that span.
“Trenton is a big, skilled winger who knows how to score goals and plays with a bit of snarl too,” Grizzlies Head Coach Marty Raymond said. “We’re excited to welcome him to Rochester and look forward to seeing the impact he’ll have on our group.”
