Aug 27, 2025

Rochester, MN – August 27, 2025 – The Rochester Grizzlies are proud to announce the hiring of Josh Bartosik as the team’s new broadcaster for the 2025–26 NA3HL season.

Bartosik, a 2025 graduate of Penn State University, brings a wealth of experience and passion for hockey broadcasting to the Grizzlies organization. During his time at Penn State, he covered a wide range of Nittany Lion athletics, specializing in hockey. His resume includes play-by-play and color commentary for radio and streaming services, highlighted by Penn State’s memorable run to the Frozen Four and their outdoor game at Wrigley Field earlier this year.

In addition to his on-air work, Bartosik served as the lead beat writer for Penn State hockey with CommRadio, where his in-depth analysis, feature stories, and active social media presence earned him recognition as the program’s top media voice. His ability to combine detailed hockey knowledge with engaging storytelling made him a favorite among fans and peers alike.

“I’m beyond excited to join the Rochester Grizzlies as their new broadcaster in the NA3HL,” said Bartosik. “This team has a passionate fan base, and I can’t wait to bring their energy and the excitement of Grizzlies hockey to life every game.”

Away from the broadcast booth, Bartosik enjoys staying active at the gym, walking his dog, and talking sports with friends. His well-rounded background and enthusiasm for connecting with fans will make him an outstanding representative for the Grizzlies both on and off the air.

The Grizzlies are excited to welcome Josh to the organization and look forward to the energy and professionalism he will bring to every call this season.
