ROCHESTER, Minn. – Last weekend, Rochester Grizzlies forward Tevin Stukel got the call-up to the Austin Bruins of the NAHL, playing in one of two games against the St. Cloud Norsemen.
At just 17 years old, Stukel received the call-up after putting up five goals and 12 points in 28 games played with the Grizzlies, bringing intensity, grit and passion on each and every shift.
“Stukel is always a guy that gives 110% on the ice,” head coach Marty Raymond said. “It was no surprise to see him get the call for the Bruins this season.”
Before playing junior hockey, Stukel spent two seasons with Hancock Central High School, where he totaled 31 goals and 61 points across 47 contests.
The Hancock, Mich. native is back with the Grizzlies for their contest against the Wisconsin Woodsmen on Saturday night.
