Three Grizzlies to Skate with Bruins for Remainder of Season

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Three Rochester Grizzlies will skate with the Austin Bruins (NAHL) for the remainder of the season. Forwards Matt DeRosa and Oskar Stahl and defenseman Cullen Rush will join Austin.

DeRosa, 17, finished third on the Grizzlies in points this season, his first in the NA3HL. The Alpharetta, GA native finished with 46 points (23 G, 23 A) in 46 regular season games, good for third on the team, and added two goals in three playoff games. He was the West Division Star of the Week for the week of Oct. 17. DeRosa also appeared in the Feb. 15 game for the Bruins against Minot.

Stahl, 19, had three different stints with the Grizzlies this season. A Sollentuna, Sweden native, Stahl chipped in 18 points (8 G, 10 A) in 12 regular season games with the Grizzlies. He was named the West Division Star of the Week for the week of March 6th and followed that up with 2nd Star for the week of March 13th. Stahl added four points (1 G, 3 A) in three playoff games for Rochester. He also dressed in 21 games for Austin this season.

Rush, 18, joined the Grizzlies in late February. The Alexandria, VA native started the season with the Atlanta Jr. Knights of the USPHL before finishing the season with Rochester. Rush appeared in six regular season games with the Grizzlies, picking up three assists in those games. He also played in the three playoff games for Rochester.
