CALL UP: Matt DeRosa Recalled by Austin Bruins

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies of the North American 3 Hockey League are proud to announce the recall of Matt DeRosa by the Austin Bruins of the NAHL.

DeRosa, 18, has played in 23 games for the Grizzlies this season and is averaging just shy of a point per game with 22 total points.
The Alpharetta, GA, native started the season with the Bruins playing in two games before being assigned to Rochester. DeRosa suited up for the Bruins on Friday night, a 2-1 win on the road against the Bismarck Bobcats. He is set to appear in Saturday night’s game, as well.
Along with DeRosa, the Bruins have also recalled Peyton Hart and Logan Olson previously this season.
As for the current Grizzlies, Rochester is back on the road this evening taking on the North Iowa Bulls for the third time this season. The Grizzlies took down the Blizzard on Friday, 6-1. Rochester is 1-1 against the Bulls this season. Tonight’s game is set for 7:30 PM and can be found on Hockey TV.
Following this weekend, the Grizzlies return home to the Rochester Recreation Center on Friday, January 10 and Saturday, January 11 for a pair of games against the Milwaukee Power.
