ROCHESTER, Minn. – Head Coach Chris Ratzloff has been named the NA3HL’s Coach of the Year as announced by the league earlier on Tuesday.

Ratzloff manned the helm for the Grizzlies and led the team to a 34-5-0-1 record, second-best in the NAHL. In addition, Ratzloff saw several of his players earn individual awards under his tutelage including Peyton Hart (League MVP and League Forward of the Year), Shane Soderwall (League Goaltender of the Year), Jameson Folden (Central Division Community Service Award), TJ Norris (Central Division Academic Award), Blake Arneson (All-Central Team) and Matt DeRosa (All-Central Team).

Along with Assistant Coach Austin Balko, Ratzloff led the Grizzlies to their second consecutive Central Division crown and took the black-and-gold to their first Fraser Cup Final.

In addition to all the success on the ice, Ratzloff also saw six total players announce their collegiate commitments and two other players who tendered with teams in the NAHL to continue their careers at the next level.

Since taking over for Casey Mignone in 2019-20, Ratzloff has propelled the Grizzlies to back-to-back Central Division titles and a combined regular-season record of 71-13-1-2.
