DeRosa Becomes Fourth Grizzly to Play for Austin this Season

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Matt DeRosa is in his first season in the North American 3 Hockey League and he’s already caught the eye of the Austin Bruins (North American Hockey League). DeRosa earned a call-up to the Bruins for their 2-1 win Friday over Minot, his first to the NAHL.

The Alpharetta, GA native became the fourth member of the Grizzlies to see playing time with Austin this season. The others being Vladislav Sorokin, Richard Szabo and Oskar Stahl.

DeRosa was back in Rochester for Saturday’s 4-0 win over Breezy Point where he scored an empty net goal. On the year he has 37 points (20 G, 17 A) in 40 games with the Grizzlies.
