Grizzlies Add Defenseman Rush

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies have announced the addition of defenseman Cullen Rush to the roster. Rush joined the  Grizzlies in time for this past weekend’s games against the North Iowa Bulls.

The 6’3″/185 lbs. native of Alexandria, VA has spent the past three seasons predominately with the Atlanta Jr. Knights of the UPSHL. His point totals have steadily increased since his first year with the program back in 2016-17. The past two seasons, while playing on the USPHL Premier team, Rush put up 25 points (3G, 22A) in 42 games in 2017-18 and 34 points (11 G, 23 A) in 42 games this season.

Rush is on the Grizzlies’ 25-man North American 3 Hockey League protected list, making him eligible for the playoffs. Rochester has four games remaining in the regular season with the next two on the road against the Evansville Jr. Thunderbolts. Those games are Fri. March 1 and Sat. March 2nd.
