Rochester, MN — The Rochester Grizzlies are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Jackson Bielenberg-Howarth.
Bielenberg-Howarth, the 6-foot, right handed shot, Oronoco native, has developed through AAA programs over the last 4 years, and has spent the last 2 seasons proving himself as a hard-working, high-character player with the 18U and 16U AAA Programs of the Sioux Falls Power. Known for his grit, and ability to create plays in all three zones, Jackson brings a mix of skill and energy that fits perfectly with the Grizzlies’ culture and style of play.
In his 2 years in the Sioux Falls Power program: Jackson put up 27 points with the 16U team, and 16 points with the 18U team.
The Grizzlies continue to build a roster that blends veteran leadership with hungry young talent, and Bielenberg-Howarth’s addition strengthens both the team’s depth and its local connection.
Jackson is also the younger brother to Lyncoln Bielenberg-Howarth. Lyncoln Played for the Grizzlies during their National Championship Season in 2021-22, and for half of the 2022-23 season.
Fans can see Jackson and the rest of the Grizzlies in action when they return to the Rochester Recreation Center for their next home games on October 17-18th when they take on the West Bend Power.
