ROCHESTER, MN – The 2022 Fraser Cup Champion Rochester Grizzlies would like to formally welcome Jacob Holmes to the organization as Director of Business Operations and have announced that Jarred Becker will take over as Director of Operations/Media Relations for the Grizzlies.
Originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Jacob Holmes spent most of his childhood in Anoka, MN, before attending and graduating from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sports and Recreation Management in 2019. Jacob is no stranger to the sports world, he has worked with multiple teams and leagues including the Elizabethton Twins (former MiLB Affiliate to the Minnesota Twins), an intern with the Minnesota Timberwolves (NBA), and with NASCAR at Bristol Motor Speedway.
“Jacob comes to us with a lot of knowledge and experience in the Sports Market,” stated Director of Operations Jarred Becker. “From the Minor League Baseball to the NBA, Jacob has worked and has served in many roles, and we are excited to welcome him to the Med City where we know he will do a great job in helping grow the Grizzlies organization.”
As for Becker, he enters his second season with the organization and will continue to serve as the Play-By-Play Broadcaster for the Austin Bruins, as well as help oversee the day-to-day operations for the Bruins and Grizzlies and handle Media Relations for both organizations.
