ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies and Alexandria Blizzard have announced the rescheduled date for the game postponed Friday, January 17th. The teams will play Thursday, February 13th from the Rochester Recreation Center at 7 PM. This will be the final meeting between the Blizzard and Grizzlies from Rochester this season.
As of now, no make-up date has been announced for the postponed game in Alexandria that was set to take place this past Saturday the 18th. Tickets purchased for this past Friday’s game will still be usable for the rescheduled date on the 13th.
The Grizzlies have two home games set for this upcoming weekend. Friday, the Grizzlies will celebrate Hockey Day in Minnesota since the original celebration was set for Friday the 17th. All kids who wear their youth hockey jerseys to the game get free admission. There will also be a post game skate with the team. Saturday is another Saturday Night Showdown sponsored by Sterling State Insurance Agency. Puck drop for both games is set for 7 PM. Fans will also be able to purchase Pink in the Rink tickets and tee shirts at both home games this weekend. Two tickets and tee shirts are just $40. Proceeds from the tee shirt sales go to Mayo Clinic for cancer research.
