Mar 22, 2019

ROCHESTER, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies announced today Zac Holm and Hunter Wilmes have signed North American 3 Hockey League tenders with the team for the 2019-20 season.

Holm is from Waconia, MN and has played the last three seasons with Waconia High School. The 18-year-old has seen his point production increase in each season and put up his best statistics this past season. The forward chipped in 32 points (14 G, 18 A) in 25 regular season games.

Wilmes has played the past two seasons with Minnesota River High School. The forward scored 34 points (23 G, 11 A)  in 22 games in 2017-28 and 51 points (22 G, 29 A) in 21 regular season games this season. He then went on to add nine points (7 G, 2 A) in five playoff games, helping Minnesota River win the Section 1A title before ultimately falling to East Grand Forks in the Class A quarterfinals at Xcel Energy Center.

By signing a tender with the Grizzlies, Holm and Wilmes are ineligible for the NA3HL Draft in April and their rights are owned by the Grizzlies.
