Rochester Grizzlies forward Briggs Knott was called up by the Minot Minotauros of the NAHL, the team announced Friday morning.
Knott posted four goals and six points in eight contests for the Grizzlies so far this season, after starting the season with two games in Minot.
“Briggs is a great player and a great kid, we are happy to see him get the opportunity at the next level,” head coach Marty Raymond said. “It’s our goal to see our players succeed and make it to the next level.”
The Bemidji, Minnesota, native is the first official call-up this season for the black and gold.
Knott will hit the ice this Friday and Saturday as the Minotauros take on the St. Cloud Norsemen. You can watch the action live on nahltv.com.
