Rochester, MN — The Grizzlies entered the night in 4th place of the Central just 6 points away from 1st. The Wausau Cyclones came to town, 1 point ahead of the Grizzlies in the 24-25 standings.
The Game opened up with what seemed like the biggest crowd of the year for the team. During a huge 1st period, Gavin Black(5), Mason Decker(11), and Noah Joyce(10) found the back of the net and went into the locker room with a 3-1 lead. Plachetka(6) beat Dubin to get the Cyclones on the board in the first as well.
Coming out of the locker room the Cyclones were hungy to climb back in the game after leading scorer Jake Garrow tallied a goal 5 minutes into the period. Right before the end of the period, Gavin Black(6) would score his second of the game and help the Grizzlies re-gain their 2 goal lead going to the Intermission, 4-2.
In the 3rd Period the Grizzlies didn’t let up with Lenny Habeck(1) getting his first of the Season, and Mason Decker(12) scoring his second of the game cementing the Grizzlies in the win column for the night, with a 6-3 Final Score.
