ALEXANDRIA, Minn. – The Rochester Grizzlies and Alexandria Blizzard game set to play in Alexandria Saturday evening has been postponed due to weather. No make-up date has been announced as of now. This marks the second straight game between these two teams that has been postponed due to the winter storm, as Friday’s game from Rochester was also postponed. That game has also not had a make-up date announced yet.
Friday and Saturday’s games were set to be the final two times the Grizzlies and Blizzard would play each other this season. The Grizzlies are 1-0-1 against the Blizzard this season with their win coming back on January 3rd.
Rochester is home Monday afternoon a 1 PM for a game against the Coulee Region Chill. The Grizzlies are teaming up with McDonald’s to bring you their second annual Healthy Habits Game. All students tickets are just $5. Fans can also purchase their Pink in the Rink tickets and tee shirts at the game, as well as every Grizzlies home game leading up to Pink in the Rink Night set for Saturday, February 1st. Individual tee shirts cost $15. Fans can also purchase the Pink in the Rink package which includes two tee shirts and two tickets for just $40. All the proceeds from the tee shirt sales go to Mayo Clinic for cancer research.
