ROCHESTER, MN – The Rochester Grizzlies, proud member of the NA3HL, have announced that Grizzlies Defensemen Per Waage has been called up to the North American Hockey League this weekend to play with the Austin Bruins. Waage becomes the 5th Grizzly this season to earn a call-up to the NAHL.
“We are excited for the opportunity Coach (Steve) Howard and the Bruins have given Per, he has been working hard and is always improving” Head Coach and General Manager, Chris Ratzloff stated. “This latest call-up is another example of how a team playing hard and doing things the right way gets opportunities for its individuals.”
So far this season, the Plymouth, Minnesota native has 4G-12A-16P and a +23 rating in 28 games played this season. The Bruins take on the North Iowa Bulls this Friday (12/31) and Saturday Night (1/01).
