Rochester Grizzlies Acquire Goaltender Calum Keating

Oct 21, 2025

The Rochester Grizzlies have acquired Goaltender Calum Keating, the team announced Wednesday.

Keating, a 2007-born netminder, has a 1.50 goals-against average and .966 save percentage in two games for the NA3HL Buzz this season, including a 48-save performance against the Long Beach Sharks on Oct. 4.

Before joining the NA3HL, the Thunder Bay native spent two years with Shattuck St. Mary’s, posting a 50-1-0 record with a 1.71 goals-against average and .889 save percentage with 11 career shutouts with the 18UAAA Shattuck team.

Standing at 6-foot-2, Keating led Shattuck in the USHS Nationals in 2024-2025, winning all four games with a 1.19 goals-against average and .906 save percentage.

Keating looks to bolster a goaltending unit for the Grizzlies that currently has a 3.14 goals-against average and .855 save percentage, including surrending three or more goals in four of the last five matchups.

The Grizzlies take on the West Bend Power this Friday at home at 7:00pm. It’s Hometown Heroes Appreciation Night, meaning all Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMS, Nurses, and Doctors will receive FREE Admission to the game with proper identification.
