Sorokin Getting Chance with Bruins

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Vladislav Sorokin has been lighting up the score sheet since he joined the Grizzlies. The native of St. Petersburg, Russia leads Rochester with 22 points (13 G, 9A) in just nine games. Now, Sorokin is getting his opportunity with the Austin Bruins of the North American Hockey League. This is Sorokin’s first time playing in the NAHL.

Sorokin (5’10″/185) was recalled by the Bruins in time for their Wednesday morning game against the Minnesota Wilderness. This was the first action in the NAHL for Sorokin. He will remain with the team for their game tonight on the road against the Chippewa Steel.

In a corresponding move, Oskar Stahl has been loaned to the Grizzlies. Stahl has appeared in two games with the Grizzlies this season putting up two points (1 G, 1 A).
