Rochester, MN — The Grizzles once again came out to a packed Rec Center with the Mayo Clinics Department of Nursing helping fill the rink. The Peoria Mustangs are in town and ready for a fight against, as they have given the Grizzlies trouble this season, splitting the season series so far this year going 2-2 against Rochester. This will be the 5th meeting between the two teams.
The 1st period started off quick as Tyler Steuck(12) would find the back of the next 2 and a half minutes into the period beating Ancinec to make it 1-0. fast forward 12 minutes and Steuck(13) would once again beat Ancinec to make it 2-0, and then 2 minutes later, Tyler Steuck(14) would complete the first period Natural Hat-Trick and sending the Grizzlies to the locker room with a 3-0 lead at the break
The middle period would see the Mustangs fight back as they have all year, beating Dubin twice, Cox(23) 5 Minutes into the Period and then Rhodes(11) on the Powerplay to make it 3-2 and the Grizzlies would be on their heels headed to the final period.
Tyler Steuck(15) would ONCE AGAIN find the back of the net in the 3rd period for his 4th goal of the game, making it 4-2 for the Grizzlies, sealing the game. Noah Gillette(12) would score the EN Goal, and make the final score 5-2 as the buzzer sounded on the game.
Andrew Dubin would stop 29 of 31 shots on the night en route to his 10th win of the season as well!
