Apr 7, 2020

ROCHESTER, Minn. – Despite most of the sports world being shut down, the Rochester Grizzlies and Head Coach Chris Ratzloff are thinking about next season and have signed Beaver Dam High School standout, Riley VanderHoeven, to a tender for the 2020-21 season.

VanderHoeven led the Beaver Dam Beavers in scoring during the 2019-20 season, registering 60  total points (32G, 28A) in just 24 games played. The Beaver Dam, WI, native has played his last three seasons for the Wisconsin High School program where he’s racked up career totals of 43 goals and 40 assists in 59 games played.

The VanderHoeven family isn’t unfamiliar with the NA3HL as Riley’s older brother, Sam, just completed his first season with the Coulee Region Chill.

VanderHoeven will join Max Erstad and Marco Troje as the most recent tenders for the Rochester Grizzlies 2020-21 season.
